		<description><![CDATA[I made these ginger biccies and they were gorgeous. I substituted maple syrup for golden syrup and used normal granulated sugar. I didn&#039;t even have to shape the mixture into balls - I just spooned a large glob onto the baking sheet (floured - excellent tip) and they spread out in the oven. Don&#039;t leave them till they&#039;re brown all over - leave them in for 15 mins as Akatsukira suggests, because when they&#039;re pale in the middle and brown around the edges, they have a delicious chewy bit in the middle, and aren&#039;t like ship&#039;s tack which ginger biccies usually are!]]></description>
